Membership terms

These terms govern membership in the WAO Apitherapy Program of the World Apitherapy Organization at campus.apitherapy.co. By purchasing or using the membership, you accept these terms.

1. What you are buying

You are buying one year of access to an informal education program in apitherapy: micro-lessons, quizzes, exams, an artificial intelligence tutor and certificates of participation. Informal education does not lead to a degree and does not license anyone to practice any profession. The certificates attest to your participation and to your passing the program's exams.

2. Access levels

• The Fundamentals Level is open to all members. It does not teach doses or techniques that pierce the skin.
• The Clinical Level opens to health professionals whose professional license we have verified.
• The dose and technique blocks open only to physicians with a verified license.

Lessons are released in installments. The date of each upcoming lesson appears in the classroom.

3. Price, billing and automatic renewal

The membership is charged in advance by card, once a year, and renews automatically on the same date each year at the price in effect for your membership. We email you 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before each renewal. If you purchased at the founder price, that price stays the same at every renewal as long as your membership is not canceled and does not expire.

Payment is processed by Hotmart, which sells the membership on behalf of the World Apitherapy Organization, shows you the amount in your country's currency before you pay and issues the receipt for your purchase. Hotmart stores your card; we never see or store the full number. Your bank may charge its own fee for international purchases.

4. If a renewal charge fails

If a renewal charge fails, Hotmart retries it. You keep access for up to 7 days after the due date; from day 8, access is suspended until the payment goes through. Your progress and certificates are kept.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel the renewal at any time: in “My account”, tap “Manage in Hotmart”, or go to consumer.hotmart.com with the email you paid with. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for and you will not be charged again. If anything goes wrong, write to us and we'll cancel it for you.

6. Guarantee and right of withdrawal

If the membership is not what you expected, we refund 100% of your first purchase if you request it within 15 days of payment, no questions asked. This includes the right of withdrawal under Article 47 of the Colombian Consumer Protection Act (Law 1480 of 2011). When the refund is made, access is closed and any certificates issued are revoked. Renewals have no guarantee, but you can cancel before they take place.

7. Use of the account and the content

• The account is personal and non-transferable. Do not share your password.
• The content belongs to the World Apitherapy Organization and is protected by copyright. You may study it, but you may not copy, resell or publish it.
• We may block an account that is shared or that uses the content improperly.

8. Not medical advice

The program is educational. Nothing in it, including the answers of the artificial intelligence tutor, replaces a consultation with a physician or constitutes treatment advice for an individual case. If an allergic reaction spreads or makes it hard to breathe, call emergency services right away.

9. Artificial intelligence tutor

The tutor answers based on the program material and can make mistakes. We store your questions and its answers to review the quality of the service. Do not enter health data, yours or anyone else's, that could identify a person.

10. Changes, governing law and contact

If we change these terms, we will notify you by email before your next renewal. These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Write to us at campus@apitherapy.co.
