Privacy policy

The World Apitherapy Organization, which runs the WAO Apitherapy Program, is the controller of your personal data at campus.apitherapy.co, in accordance with the Colombian Personal Data Protection Act (Law 1581 of 2012) and its implementing decrees.

1. What data we process

• Account data: name, name for the certificate, email, WhatsApp, country and language.
• Study data: lessons viewed, quiz and exam answers, certificates and questions to the artificial intelligence tutor.
• Payment data: the gateway gives us a reference to your card (brand, last four digits and expiration date). We never receive the full number or the security code.
• Professional verification (optional): profession, license number and country, and the document you upload.

2. What we use it for

• To give you access, charge the membership and notify you of renewals and charges.
• To issue and verify certificates. The public verification page shows the name on the certificate, the course and the dates to anyone who has the code.
• To answer your questions through the tutor, by email or on WhatsApp.
• To improve the program with usage statistics.
• To send you program news only if you authorize it; you can withdraw that permission at any time.

3. Who we share it with

With providers that render services to us, and only for those purposes: hosting (Railway, United States), payments (Hotmart or Wompi), email (Resend, United States), the tutor's artificial intelligence (Anthropic, United States) and WhatsApp messaging (Callbell). Some of them are located outside Colombia; by accepting this policy, you authorize that international transfer.

4. Your rights

You can access, update and correct your data, ask us to delete it, and revoke this authorization by writing to campus@apitherapy.co. We answer inquiries within 10 business days at most and complaints within 15 business days at most. If you live in the European Union or in Brazil, you also have the rights granted by the GDPR or the LGPD, which we handle through the same channel.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account and, afterward, for the time required by accounting and tax regulations. Certificates are kept so they remain verifiable, unless you ask us to delete them.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the session and to remember your language and the affiliate or campaign you came from (60 days). We do not use advertising cookies without your permission.
